FARM TO TABLE PLEIN AIR 2018-19
Farm to Table Plein Air is entering it’s fourth year as a project of LandArt Events.
We offer three categories for artist- Invited, Juried and Open. Artist may register or apply to participate online. The deadline for juried artists to apply and send their images to be juried is February 23, 2019. If you plan to apply as a juried artist and would like to paint before March you are welcome to register as an open artist as well.
We offer up to 4 painting days a month November through February. These dates are only open to invited and open artists. Juried artist will start to paint in March unless they register as open. March through August we offer at least 8 painting days per month.
Along with the scheduled painting days we will hold several community days. Invited and juried artist must participate in at least one Community Day. Open artist are encouraged to attend community days.
Number of paintings:
Invited Artists:
Must exhibit at least five paintings and have the option to exhibit no more than ten paintings
Five must be from different Brandywine Conservancy properties
Four paintings will compete for awards
Juried Artists:
Must exhibit at least four paintings but have the option to exhibit no more than eight paintings
Four must be from different Brandywine Conservancy properties
Four paintings will compete for awards
Open Artists
Open artists may exhibit up to 3 paintings
Open artists are not be eligible to compete for awards.
Open artists are not required to exhibit.
Fees:
Invited-$50
Juried- $40 and a $30 participation fee if selected
Open- $30
Note: Juried artists may register as open and juried and if selected as a juried artist they will not be charged another participation fee.
The culminating event, which will include an art show and sale, will be held in the fall of 2019.
We are pleased to have Nancy Tankersley as our Juror of Selection and Alexandra Tyng as our Judge of Awards.
